Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
My 60GB PS3 had been hit by a power surge and everything hooked up through video(TV, cable box, Receiver) got damaged. The HDMI won't show a picture but the regular(yellow)composite will. Is there a way I can fix it for less than sending it to Sony for $150?
Hook up the ps3 thru the regular yellow composite and HDMI. Go into the settings and change the output to HDMI and then see if you can get video thru the HDMI, if you don't then the mainboard is bad and you would have to send it to Sony unless you can get your hands on another broken sony ps3 with a good main board.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
