Question about GE Profile JTP18 Electric Single Oven
Why is it beeping and how do I fix it?
This indicates an over temperature condition occurred. This could be caused by a failed temperature sensor, failed cooling fan, or problem with the control board.
The temperature sensor can be tested with an ohm-meter (should read 1090 ohms @ 70 F). If the sensor is good, fan is running, may be welded relay contacts on the control board. We rebuild these control boards at www.fixyourboard.com.
