JVC THM303 - No Sound

Hi - I have a JVC THM303 home cinema system - the problem is there is no sound. Sound can be heard via the earphone jack, but not via the subwoofer and connected speakers.
Power light is on the subwoofer, but nothing else.

Re: JVC THM303 - No Sound

Its your wire connection problem. Plz check that all the wires are connected to specific location. If wiares are ok then it might be internal circuit error! that should be repaired at authorised service stations.

How do I connect to TV using analogue cable ?

Some TVs have headphone output. It is 6.3mm jack or 3.5mm jack. Often located on the back of the TV if it is a LED ord LCD TV.
You probably need an audio cable that has jack in one end and two RCA konnectors in the other.

If it isn't sound you're looking for, but picture, and your TV only have SCART or component image input, you need equipment with SCART output or component output. Some SCART plugs do have separated audio and component outputs.

Logitech Z4 speakers not working at all. Checked all connections, computer registering them?... but when I plugged my mobile phone earphones in front jack there's still no sound?!

Please click on the Volume icon in the system tray and make sure that the speakers or other volumes are not muted. Windows has a habit of muting things on its own. And unless there is sound going to the speakers the headphone jack on the front of speakers will not function.

Faulty sound on Panasonic home cinema system

If you can leave off the subwoofer (disconect it) and the sound distorts you know it's the amp.
In either case you are looking at a transistor or IC that has a heat problem. You can find out which by spraying with Servisol Freezer spray on to a suspect device, when the distortion is there. If it goes away when the suspect is cooled, then it's gone. To confirm it heat it back up with a soldering iron, it should then start acting up again.
You should be able to get the spray from Maplin (UK) or Radioshack (USA), or that type of shop.

No sound from JVC do have sound from TV connected

hey man my names josh i used to work in home theatre if you can clarify what your problem is i can walk you through it my cell is 832 248 4144 on thing thing yo want to check with that no sound being produced out of of hdmi is to make sure that the port that you have it running to on your tv does not have a set of analog jacks next to it. if thats the case you want get your sound cause you will have to run sound with your hdmi next to that port on the tv that is if your tv has that function and providing you have more than one hdmi port on your tv it will most be the first port you have it pluged into if not you may need to check your wiring and your pre sets on the tv as well as your wiring that your have going to every thing cause i cant promise you that everyting may be hook up like it should but i can straiten that up for ya like i said my name is josh and my cell is 832 248 4144

Samsung Series 6 TV - cannot get TV to go through Home cinema speakes

Ok, the Audio can only be transfered to the HT if it is connected via something other than the HDMI, (the HDMI is just 1 way accept for the Anynet function (which is great with the 6 series. I have the LE52-A656))

The audio can be transfered via component cables but you will get the best out of your system using an optical cable. The main reason for optical is it ability to transfer 5.1. Only problem is the Samsung does not output 5.1!! bugger!! one you have connected it via the optical too. just set the HT to D-IN and you should be goo to go! :) There maybe something i have missed but Im at work at the mo but let me know how you get on :)
