Mix one (1) ounce of two cycle oil per quart of gasoline or four (4) ounces of oil per gallon of unleaded gasoline. Hope this helped and best wishes.

What would be wrong with my weedeater when i press the primer bulb gas will start to come out of the gas cap ?

You could have a clogged tube from the primer into the carb, but it also sounds like the fuel tank is overfilled.

If you have a 4 cycle engine you should have oil in the crankcase and you don't need oil in the gas...now if your engine is 2 cycle which it probably is... then you need to mix 2 cycle oil with the gas...usually about 40 or 50 to 1...

40:1 fuel to oil should work fine if you use a modern synthetic saw oil available from home centers, hardware stores, and saw dealers. Be sure to premix in it's own container and to shake the container thoroughly each time just before filling the tank to prevent oil starvation. Make sure the fuel filter, air cleaner, and muffler are not plugged. Inspect the fuel lines for decay or other damage. Hope this helps!

Need gas/oil mixture for a John Deere BC 1600 trimmer.

Some of the new machines have a 50:1 Mix ratio, but all of the older ones I've seen are 40:1 which is 3.2 oz oil/Gallon gas. The John Deere machines appear to be similar to the Homelites, just different brand names on them.
