Question about IBM ThinkPad G41 Notebook
My ibm thinkpad comes on and then immediately shuts down and says Fan Error
Take it to the technician remove the fan clean the dust then put it again if its not working then change the fan

Well, the fan is either unplugged from it's socket, froze up, or completely clogged with dust, etc and is giving the bios reason to shut down.
Also tho, tell me, does the time and date keep needing to be reset?
Could be a cmos battery. Some of the older thinkpads were like that, although my T30 has never shown this problem.
