Indesit WDG1295W. Why doesn't it drain?

The pump and connecting lines could be choked with debris the filter didn't catch.

The freezer still goes but not the fridge part.

You have a unit whose defrost cycle isn't working properly. The defrost element is either controlled by an actual timer motor or it may be controlled by a circuit board. Either the defrost element is defective, the defrost timer is defective or the circuit board is defective. A very remote possibility is the defrost termination thermostat could be 'open'.

If you TOTALLY defrost the freezer compartment, your unit will work decently for about three days until it freezes solid again. The evaporator coil in the freezer is covered by the interior and inaccessible without removing the freezer shelving and the rear of the freezer interior. If the element is defective, it is located behind this cover and is imbedded within the evaporator coil itself.

My admiral washer ATW4475TQ0 makes a thumping noise at end of spin cycle and when lid is opened during spin. What could be wrong?

there are stabilizers on the drum if they have fell off or broken away the drum will swing wildly around on spin this will cause the drum to "hit" the inside of the washer,,,check the drum stabilizers are in good order

Towels smell sour. while cleaning noticed small "hole" (factory made) in bottom of boot in front of three "notches". seems like a drain hole? stuck q-tip in there and stinky black muck discovered. ran...

I think you are talking about the door gasket. Use a mixture of bleach and water in the gasket and also in the drum. Most front load washer are notorious for mold and mildew. Run the washer in a rinse cyle to clean drum. Also clean your drain filter.

Machine makes awful noise during any movement, spins very slowly, not enough to spin out. Making an awful noise, like stripped gears and won't drain

There are three reasons for such awful noise during spinning. Either the drum or the bearing turning the drum. Check for drum bearing failure if your washing machine is noisy on the spin cycle. Drum bearing failure is common when the bearing seals start allowing water to enter. You can take the belt off and spin the drum by hand, and if the drum rumbles, replace the bearings.

Thanks

Oven shelve falls

You are right, this is very dangerous. It is possible that your oven walls expanded, but honestly, I've never heard of this before, but this is what it sounds like!! I would call Sears right away and have them come out and check it. If the walls did expand, you have a defective oven and they should recall that model. I'd really love to hear the outcome of this complaint, so please let me know how everything turns out for you. And you better get it repaired before Thanksgiving. Have a great day!
