Yes, I understand the problem, but how can I delete the messages? I have tried all of the keys and "nothing"!

  • jkoln Sep 04, 2009

I know how to delete messages when the F1 is not flashing, but now when the F1 flashes and the machine beeps continuously there appears to be no way to delete messages or do anything else with the keys. By pressing or holding any key nothing happens! I believe that the machine must be reset but how?

  • jkoln Sep 04, 2009

It has been unplugged for about one week. Still flashes and buzzes when plugged in.

  • jkoln Sep 04, 2009

As I stated in my original problem the error message is F1, not to be confused with F.

CLICK HERE for your owners manual in PDF format.

F1 indicates a communication failure with the digital EEPROM (onboard memory).

Essentially you have a paperweight now.

The repair requires a replacement of the memory module, and from all accounts, that proprietary part is not sold.

I would also assert the repair to cost more than another unit (new, or used)

Thanks for using FixYa!!

My problem seems the same but it's flashing F0. We had a power outage during this last winter storm. My answering machine was affected. When i tried to reset it and plugged in the power cord it shows a code of "F0" and just beeps constantly. It won't let me do anything. I've tried pushing all the buttons, including on/off, change, code etc. My mailbox memory was not full before the power went out but I thought maybe the power outage affected it so it thinks its full but since none of the buttons respond I can’t delete any messages. It won’t let me set clock or day or anything. I don't know what else to try. Everything was working perfectly before the outage. I have had power outages before but they never affected my machine like this...all I had to do was reset it. Please can anyone help me??

Generally you clear that by unplugging it for about 10 minutes. you will have to add your voice message and set the time again.

When Memory is Full
The system can record approximately 24
minutes of messages (including the time
for your announcement), or a maximum
of 99 messages. When memory is full,
or 99 messages have been recorded, the
Message Window flashes F. Delete
messages to make room for new ones.
When memory is full, the system answers
calls after 10 rings, and sounds two beeps
instead of your announcement.
this might help but ill keep looking to see if i can get a more clear answer for you...

    Deleting Messages

Delete all messages in a mailbox

Press and release D, then press the

MBOX button of the mailbox you want to

    clear. The system announces “Messages

deleted.” If you haven’t listened to all of

the messages, the system beeps five times,

    and does not delete messages.

    Delete selected messages
    — Press and

release D while the message you want

to delete is being played. The system

beeps once, and continues with the next

message. If you want to check a message

before you delete it, you can press

? to replay a message before

    deleting it.

When the system reaches the end of the

last message, the messages not deleted are

    renumbered, and the Message Window

displays the total number of messages

    remaining in memory.

E1 message on my LG Inverter Direct Drive Dishwasher

Hi there,

An F1 usually means a communication error between the control board/touchpad and the motor/pump assy. Could you please supply the full model # for your unit?

Where can a find a new pump CHEAP? Current pump is Model C48L2P104 (18 years old). Serial 1B93. Voltage 230 HP 1.5 RPM 3450/1725 Amps 9.2/2.5 Frame 48Y Dura-glas H/L

A new motor and pump parts (if needed) would be cheaper than a whole new pump. Your motor is part number UQS1152R or if you just want a single, high speed motor you could use USQ1152 to replace it. You will likely need a seal and seal insert as well; part number 100 (it may have letters in front like AS100, PS100, etc) and J3-2. A whole new pump you should shop for part #P2RA5YF-182L.

For a quote on the parts from us you can contact us using thru our website at www.arrowpools.net. Otherwise, google those numbers to locate your best deal.

F1 error message Kenmore Electric range model 790.95680301

Hi

F1 error means that you have either a bad ERC (clock) or a bad touch pad. To check these please follow these simple instructions:
  1. Disconnect power to stove
  2. Gain access to the back of the clock (electronic range control or ERC).
  3. Unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC. This will be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide.
  4. Make sure everything is clear and will not short out when power is turned back on.
  5. Turn power back on to stove.
  6. Watch for the F1 and listen for the beep.
  7. If you get the F1 and beep, replace the ERC.
  8. If after approx. 30 minutes you do NOT get the F1 and hear the beep, replace the touch pad.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Can not record a clear voice message

The internal microphone might be failing. If you haven't already tried….call into the answering and recording the greeting that way.

If that's been tried and doesn't work, there isn't much more that can be done as modern electronic devices are not designed to be user fixable.

You might be able to find a used 1725 or 1726 for sale on eBay.
