Try this:

when it asks for pass code, do this:
press 'select' button --> 7444 --> enter new pass code --> re-enter new pass code

movie should start.
'7444' deletes previous pass code.

hope this helps :D

TV power button on my RCA True Flat 27" screen TV

RCA TVs come with a child lock capability called V-Chip. It's a parental control system which allows you to block programs and films by content, age-based ratings and the ratings which come with the movies. The parental control is a code, sent by the broadcaster to your television. The V-Chip will not work if the broadcaster doesn't send the control, or if the parental controls are switched off or unlocked. The controls are set up in the TV's main menu. The default is off.
