I have a domestic rm2510 the freezer gets cold on electric but does nothing on gas have a good flame just does not cool down?

So far I have checked and the gas and it lights as it should and has a good clean blue flame. The electric side seems to work the best but still not that cold. Have checked for level and it seems to be good.Has no smell or any signs of leakage not sure where to look next?

Electrolux RM212,F, wont cool on gas but appears to be ok on electric.
The flame lights but can only feel a slight chill in the freezer box, and the flame does not seem to adjust with the control.

The igniter needs to be replaced. I had the exact same thing happen to my oven. The igniter would glow, but after tested, it did not have enough amperage to actually ignite the gas, so the gas kept running with no ignition

SOURCE: gas oven will not ignite

It sounds like somebody bypassed the flame sensor on the oven, no oven should ever release gas for more than a couple seconds if there is no ignition. This oven is very dangerous and should not be used until it is looked at by a professional.

SOURCE: Maytag MZD2766GE side by side, fridge not getting cold.

Your timer for the automatic defrost is defective. Replace it. If you thawed out the back of the freezer, this could be good for 3-7 days and it will freeze up again. I had the same trouble.

SOURCE: Our Dometic RM2193 cools on gas but does not work on electric

It could be as simple as a blown fuse at the fridge. Also check to make sure you have turned on the electric switch that allows the fridge to run on AC. Note, you can only operate the fridge on EITHER gas OR electric, but not both sources at the same time, thus, you have to turn off the gas switch before you can run on electric.

When this unit is running on electricity, it has to have the thermostat set for it to run.

Here's a link to the Dometic manual for your model.

Just follow the steps for running on electric and you should be OK.
Hope this helps.

I have a Dometic fridge model number RM2612 in a camper that i just purchased used and the fridge isn't cooling. The freezer section seems to be okay. The metal plate in the freezer gets cold but

Make sure it is level, has proper airflow out through top vent. Also check baffle, or stack where flame sits under and blow it out good with compressed air to make sure it's clean. If you smell a hint or strong smell of ammonia, shut it off, it has a leak in cooling unit. If all ok in that area, shut it off, disconnect and plug propane line, disconnect power and remove the fridge. Turn the fridge upside down for a day or 2, then re-install and let it sit 24 hrs before turning it back on. Quite often that will take care of any blockage in flow of cooling liquid, and get things back to normal if cooling unit is still good.

Refrigerator not getting cold, freezer works and is cold but nothing happens to the climate in the refrigerator even when adjusting the control/setting

If the entire cooling off the fridge is down then it is important to get this checked for the performance of the compressor and gas pressure.
If the pumping of the compressor is down ,thenit is possible that the cooling can drop. Just shut off fridge for about few hours and restart. If the cooling does not return then the compressor is faulty.
The same goes for thelower gas presssure.
If the cooling of the freezer is intact then the fault can be the failure of the fan, blocking of vent which can be rerlated to the thermostat or auto defrost timer.

Freezer box gets cold but fridge box stays warm.

Could be frost build up in the freezer compartment or a bad defroster,
Try running a diagnostic defrost cycle test and see what happens

Dometic RM2607

It sounds like the thermocouple is either faulty or incorrectly installed. In other words the sensor bulb may be very slightly to far away from the flame to get sufficient temperature to keep the gas flowing. This is a safety device to cut off gas supply should the flame blow out. But if you are parked at a bit of an angle, the flame will also angle away from the sensor, causing it to shut off gas supply. With regards the freezer being temperamental, this is a strange one, because on this model of fridge/freezer, the actual cooling starts from the freezer coil and ends in the fridge. Try to check the thermocouple first. Also be sure there is nothing obstructing the flame.
