2005 Lincoln Aviator the cooling fan troubleshooting it

There is a cooling fan relay in the under hood fuse / relay box . There is a fuse F1.8 20amp in the same under hood fuse / relay box ! If you pull the relay out of it's socket an look on the bottom you'll see some numbers , 30,87,85,86 ! 85an 86 are the control side of the relay an 30 an 87 or the load -fan side ! If you take a test light or volt meter you can check for battery voltage at pin 30 ,you could take a jumper wire from pin 30 to 87 an the fan should run , if the fan motor is good an there is battery voltage at pin 30 ! Pins 85 an 86 are the control side of the relay ,pin 86 should have battery voltage an pin 85 is from the engine computer ,when the temperature get's to 195 - 213 degrees the engine computer will ground pin 85 through a transistor inside the computer energizing the relay turning on the cooling fan ! You can test right there at the relay ! VEHICLE RELAYS Operation Diagnosis

Yes,it can be that module on the side of distributor. Have you put one on there? You have to coat the side which touches the distributor with white conductive grease that dissipates that heat.
Did you do that? Have the module tested at Auto-Zone, but make them leave it on the tester a while and they may see the problem.

I cant get the ac ( cool ) to work , it read HOLD @ 82 degrees. I'm sweating over this

Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. Your thermostat may be on the blink and need to be replaced. But first lets try a couple things first take the batteries out of the thermostat and let the display go completely blank ( aprox. 5 mins.). While that is going blank go to the indoor air handler and turn the power off to it either from the switch or the inside panel box. Then once the display has gone blank turn the power back on and put the batteries back in. Then set the switch to cool and turn the temperature down and press hold and try it like that to see if it goes back to heat if it does then the thermostat is changing the temperature on its own and going into heat mode and will need to be replaced.

I don;t know what engine is on your mower but if it has the self contained electronic ignition coil I have seen happen on several engines. It would run good for several min. then the spark just stops . And it will not spark again until it sets and cools . Just make sure it is the ignition that is not working.
