    THANKS FOR THE INFO FELLAS! I'M CAR CRAZY BUT I'M ON A SHASTA COLA BUDGET, AND YES ITS OBVIOUS THAT I'M YOUNG AND DUMB AND HAVEN'T MASTERED THE COMMON SENSE OF TROUBLESHOOTING. BUT WHATS IMPORTANT IS THAT WITH, THE HELP OF YOU GUYS I'M ACTUALLY FIXING SHIT INSTEAD OF JUST BREAKING THINGS. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT A COUPLE OF WIRES WOULD SAVE THE DAY UNTIL I CAN EFFORD THE IMPORTANT PART OF MY DELEMA, MY FAMILY AND I THANK YOU. FROM AUBREY, JORDAN, KELLY, AND JAY P.S ANYONE GOT A QUICK FIX FOR A PASSKEY FAULT, 95 CHEV.C.C. OR ANY TROUBLESHOOTING METHODS FOR MY COOLANT SYSTEM. CAUSE MY TEMPATURE SAYS ITS VERY COLD ALL THE TIME, HOW DO I FOUND OUT HOW TO TRUST MY TEMP GAUGE?

Yoe will have to replace whatever seized up, if you want AC, If not, just unplug the wires into the unit. That will disable the clutch and the pulley will spin freely. You also need to replace the serpentine belt.

    It's the only electrical plug going to the compressor. You will have 2 wires and 2 pipes. The wires control the clutch.

Bad cable connection or high current from starter how n wat do i do to solve tht..

Check the cables at the battery and starter for tightness and any corossion . The starter can be getting tight from wear or the engine bearings can get tight causing over current draw and heat . A locked up or seizing air conditioning clutch can mimic seizing engine bearings . A current clamp meter can read current draw . Temporarily removing the serpentine belt can help make sure a belt driven component is not seizing .

What causes the air conditioner unit to screech

the compressor is seized.
key off.
a/c belt off.
apply power 12vdc to the clutch, the clutch is not enabled.
then buy hand, again engine off. turn the a/c pulley buy
hand, i bet you cant, and is called Seized.
this method works for all parts, on all belts that might seize.
(only a/c needs the clutch active to feel it)
it is possible the clutch bearing is siezed.
that can be fell with not applying 12vdc it s coil.

Was size serpentine belt do i need to bypass my air conditioning pump?

did you remove the air compressor ,and if you did you need to put something in its place for the belt tensioner will not hold tension . it will be easier to just replace the air condition pump or best known as the air compressor with a used one . this is my link to my garagehttps://www.facebook.com/TedsRepairs

If you need the air conditioning you will probably have to replace the compressor.

If you dont need it you can just disconnect the connector on the compressor and leave it there to support the new belt..

Sounds like the ac compressor locked up and the belt snapped from rubbing on it. Once the belt snaps, the water pump stops and the engine overhears.

start your engine and open the hood. inpect every place that the belt runs through, the pulley that doesn't turn is where the problem is. to make sure, pour some water on it, after you stopped the engine, and if smoke comes out, correct the problem
