Question about Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V7010 Notebook
I want to upgrade the RAM on my laptop.
However the problem I have is I can't get the panel on the back of the laptop open to insert the RAM. There are 7 small screws keeping the panel in place but when they are removed the panel still can't be removed. It seems as if there is a clip or something holding one side of the panel in place.
Can you help please?
The bottom panel does have a clip. you have to give it a little tug to get it free. i had the same problem and after working up the courage, i pulled it off and everything was easy from there.

I might be wrong but i thought on the fujitsu laptops you have to remove the keyboard to get access to the ram and there wasen't a access pannel on the back.
might be wrong but i have upgradedb quite a few.
if it is on the back the clips that hold the pannels in are normally quite chunky and require a bit of persuadence :) dont be afraid to give it a tug :)
have a look on the net for dissmantling guides for your model.
hope this has helped.
