19" star logic MJ9BBK suddenly changed color

The monitor is connected to an ACER laptop which has not been upgraded to VISTA. Suddenly the color on the monitor changed. How do I get the color back. It is a terrible yellow green.

Firstly try connecting the monitor to a different computer. If the green colour persists then the monitor has a fault. if it goes away then you may need to try reinstalling your video drivers. If having done that it STILL does it then is possible you have a fault on the motherboard video card. Also check there are no bent pins on the monitor cable

First check the connections to make sure they are tight,next go to desktop settings and make sure the external monitor has the same color configuration.

    This sounds like a bad VGA cable. Try replacing the cable with a known good cable. Also, check and make certain that you have all of your pins on the VGA cable.

if this is a CRT or big monitor to the back you have cold solder on the CRT board this is the board to the back to make sure tap the monitor to the back and see if the color change back you will have to open and re solder that crt board

Right-click any free space on the desktop, choose properties, choose display, change the settings to 32-bit and which ever screen ratio you want.

My AL1916W was having same problem, its due to faulty IFB which cannot save colors after pressing reset, get it replaced from acer, if its in warranty, acer will replace ur LCD within a week.
