Your battery is defective, needs to be replaced.
Batteries need to be charged in a random pattern and need to be worn down randomly, else they develop a memory and won't fully charge.

The battery life is VERY much shorter on my phone than it used to be. I'm having to buy new ones every 3/4months? What's wrong? I always buy the best possible type from a reliable supplier.

battery life depends on 2 things
the amount of time you spend on the phone and the number of apps you are running
and the level of charge at which you recharge the phone
Recent questions put to a phone repair shop got the answer that 3 days from a fully charged battery was exceptional as most only do 1 day on normal use and less if watching live streaming
as to the level at recharge , batteries have a habit of developing a level memory and will not charge past that point
So if you continually recharge at almost flat, and allow for a full recharge , you get full battery life
at the other end of the period , if you recharge at say 75% charge , the battery memory starts and then it doesn't matter how long you charge the battery for , it will only charge 25% which means you wind up with a flat battery more often
so how to overcome the problem---the more you use it the quicker the battery runs down and when recharging always allow the battery to be less than 5% charge before recharging it ( dead flat is best) and leave it on charge for the max amount of time ( overnight is best)

I have minolta DiMage camera and it will not reconize fully charged batteries, it show battery as being 1/2 full and I put new batteries and it still won't reconize. I have cleaned the battery posts, but...

When you said new batteries, did you mean a fully charged battery? If so, it could be that your batteries are nat capable of holding a full charge. Otherwise, my suggestion would be to Call the manufacturer for tips or help.

Had this tablet for one day, its showing 50% .. battery, when should I recharge..

There's no harm in keeping it on charge all the time. Unlike older rechargeables, newer Li-ion batteries don't need to be broken in by running them down and then recharging.

I have a problem in my dell laptop battery. I have charge alomost 1 hours and is show full battery and time backup is 1 hour and 30 min. then after 20 min. it shown 35 min. backup

The battery may be near the end of its usable life. As batteries age, they cannot store a charge as long as they used to. Also, if the battery is constantly being charged, this could cause the battery to lose its ability to keep a charge. The best option is to replace the battery.
Please rate my solution to let me know how I'm doing. Thank you!

Nokia 1100 shows battery empty while calling even if it is full charged

This is your battery problem. Just do the step below hope it will solve a bit. get fully discharge and let automatically switched off. then connect to charging but do not switched it on after showing full charge, disconnect charging and switched your phone on. initially do dis 4-5 time a week. After that do 1-2 a week. This will increase your battery strength.......

if not then change your battery.

How many hours we should charge the battery fist time Nokia-2700

There are basically 3 types of chemicals currently being used for cell phone and laptop batteries. Ni-cad, Ni-mh and Li-ion. There is a fourth makineg its way in Li-ion polymer. A couple things are consistent for all types of batteries no matter what chemical is inside. You must initially give the battery a 12-14 hour charge on the home charger. (Don't use a cigarette adapter for the first charge. This conditions the battery and don't take it off the charger that first time even if the charging indicator says it's full after 3 hours. Also the manufacturer's also state to run it thru 3 charge cycles. What that mean's is that you fully charge and fully drain 3 times. 1 full charge + 1 full drain = 1 charge cycle. Here's where the way you charge the battery starts to differ.

Ni-cad: Mostly only on older devices, has a "memory" effect, should be drained before a full charge is put on it, should be removed after overnight charge or can be overcharged and burnt out.

Ni-mh: Still used for some devices, has slight memory effect but not enough to have to fully drain before the recharge, should not be consistently left on charger after full charge that can eventually burn out battery and shorten usage time.

Li-ion and Li-ion polymer: Used on a lot of newer devices, has no "memory" effect, should be recharged as often as possible, actually likes to be charged and draining it regularly can cause the usage time to be shortened, can NEVER be overcharged so whenever you're near a charger put it on there. Besides those benefits a li-ion battery is lighter and smaller but the chemical can hold more charge than Ni-cad and Ni-mh.

So the one reply to your question said to error on the side of draining the li-ion batteries. This is incorrect information. You want to charge the battery before it gets below a 20% charge. Also batteries will not go bad from accidentally doing the incorrect charging procedure here and there but normally follow the correct procedure. One last note try to use the home charger more often than the cigarette lighter charger for best long term results. Cigarette lighter chargers do not give a full charge (about 95%) which in the long run can damage any type of battery listed.

When to recharge batter

hi right to be honest both ways are correct, but if your using it every day then its best to put it back on the charger after every use, but the problem with this is that the battery never goes totally flat, so never does a full recharge this reduces the life of the battery by upto 50% so if you are using it regular and need it charged daily then its best to once a month let the battery go totally flat so that it wont even make a sound then do a full recharge.
Doing this will ensure the battery remains at peak performance and make it last longer.

If how ever your only using it say once a week then its best to only charge after the battery has gone flat due to the fact that it would remain on charge longer and cause the battery to over heat reducing the life span of the battery.

But witch ever method you use always let the battery go totally flat once a month then do full recharge this will prolong the life of the battery and ensure it keeps working at full power.

Let me know if you have further questions ok
