Question about Computers & Internet
Is this working before? The only problem that I could see is the driver. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth (BT) driver of your external BT device to the computer?
What is the brand of your Bluetooth (BT) adapter?
What is the operating system of your computer (Win XP, Vista)
What kind of BT device you would like to transfer files? (Is it a cell phone, PDA)
What kind of file are you trying to transfer (MP3, Video or Picture)?
On the blank box that came out the time you tried transferring a file, do you see an option 'Search for Bluetooth devices in range'? If you see that option, click it and the computer should start searching for the BT device near the computer.
You have to make sure that the cellphone or PDA is paired up with the BT adapter before trying to send a file.
Please answer the questions above and get back to me so that I could further assist you! Thank you!
