Which model number? Which limit are you exceeding (change limit, high amount limit etc)? If you are not sure, explain the key sequence before the error.

I am being sent mp3 files via text from my mom to use as ringtones on my phone. Some of them are being saved to my ringtones, and others aren't. The ones that aren't are showing up in my ATT music, but not...

Possibly Not - I had the same issue with a Motorockr and I contacted customer service but they told me some items may be copyrighted and those in particular would not be able to be used as ringtones but you could still listen to them as a mp3 or midi file. I know Motorola has a program called Motorola Phone Tools and that program is suppose to allow you to make your own ringtones but I am not sure if LG has a similiar program or not.

you need to check the mms settings of your phone. call your service provider to check if the mms settings of your phone is already activated. if so, check the size of mms that you're sending. 600kb is the limit size

How to use ringtone as mp3

If the phone is a Rogers or Fido variant then it will not be able to use user created or third party MP3 files as ringtones. This is due to the Rogers software customization, which uses DRM to restrict content use. This uses a software restriction method known as DRM (digital rights management) to control what and how content can be used. The provider places their own software on the phone which restricts the use of MP3 files as ringtones to those purchased directly through them or limited to a size of 600kb. Most carriers now enforce DRM, through customized software on the phones, to restrict how certain content is used. Unless a file is digitally signed with the carriers key or within some other specification set out by the carrier, it will not be usable as a ringtone. You should contact your service provider for more information on DRM and other content restrictions they have placed on your phone. You may still have the option to use other file formats such as midi, wav, mp4, m4a, and, unrestricted AAC.
You can also have your phone flashed / debranded, to allow for custom ringtone use.

You could also use the DRM packager on Sony Ericsson's Developer site to bypass these restrictions. It may be a bit complicated, but once you get it, it's simple.

Samsung sync cant handle a ringtone half of its supposed capacity?

I'm assuming your trying to change your text ring tone. I to had the same problem. And after a little bit of research I found a really good program. Download "mobile ringtone converter" they will give you a free trial. you can pay for it if u like... wink ...wink... Now after you have the full copy. insert any song you want/ edit it any way you want and when your ready..... (for the sync) save it as a *.*mmf file. when its done just tranfer the new *.*mmf file to your phone (i.e. micro SD) then go to setting's/ profiles/ edit your profile/ scroll over to the text mess. icon/ then select message alert tone/ select- use my alert tone/ then slect- your new *.*mmf file you just made. Assuming you did everything right......BAM! new ring tone! p.s. regular ringtone's Can use *.*mp3 format & *.*mmf format... good luck hope it works for ya!

No ringtone with vibration

Since Samsung will take only less than 500kb or 600kb MP3 file as a ringtone so if your is bigger than this then it will not work. You can go to Samsung Website to get Pc Studio Software and get the cable on Ebay the install the software into your pc and use your Data cable to connect it with your T629 for downloading your Ringtones. Other way, you can install an USB Bluetooth adapter to your pc and pair with your phone then you can transfer file thru Bluetooth function. I hope it help.

Hello

thus your phone exceed its limit? or during the reception of a ringtone it displays any statemen on the screen? Maybe you've got full phone memory and you downloaded too much, if so, your phone software was corrupted. you need to reformat your phone.
