WONT DRY

Hi there, if your dryer is a condensing dryer then perhaps you need to empty the collector bottle , its is a compartment on the side of machine , open this and remove the bottle , this must be done after at least two sessions of drying. On the other hand if your dryer is of the vented type with a 4 inch flex vent it must be vented through the wall to the outside with no kinks in it , the reason for this is the water turns to vapour , and must exit the machine or you will have clothes that are still wet and water will collect at the bottom, its the same principal for the condenser machine only you have to empty the bottle of condensed water or the same result will occur.
Hope this is of some help to , Cassyjoe.

It says the water needs emptying but it is empty

After reading about various dryer problems / solutions it seems others have had this same problem. It could be that a smaller resevoir which houses the sensor connected to the water collector is full and it's valve may be blocked with lint. It can be solved by getting to the valve and removing the lint. You may need to remove the valve itself. Hope that helps. Good luck.

Wdl540 clothes go through drying cycle but come

If there is no heat at all then the heater or the temp sensor or the thermal fuses are defective and need replacing.

Also check that the lint filter is clear of debris and lint. Rinse it if necessary in some mild washing up liquid in warm water and dry thoroughly. Check that the air outlet hose is clear if you have one fitted. Check that the condenser is empty of water and the case is free from dust and lint. Vacuum / brush or wash the outside of the collector in washing up liquid and warm water and dry.

Hoover Vision HD VHC391 saying it is full of water

My son seems to have fixed my dryer.
Although I followed the instructions about cleaning the filter after each cycle and the condenser after ten, fluff had blocked the drainage from the internal reservoir to the water collection bottle. It seems like this will be an ongoing problem, as even cleaning every time, fluff will gradually biuld up. The filter isn't good enough to stop fibres getting into the condenser and then into the reservoir behind it.
I expect that taking the cover off the reservoir to clean it invallidates a guarantee if you have one, but that is what my son did and now the dryer is working.

Drying clothes properly, water going on floor not container.

The tube from the lower water collector that feeds the upper is detatched or split. Take off R/H side panel as you look at machine and at the bottom you will see a spring. Behind this is the lower water tank (very small) - it has two electrical connectors on it, There should be a black plastic tube attached to the top, this is the tube that feeds the upper condenser container.

Your vent hose is crimped or clogged. Take hose off and see if air is coming out. Bet your dryer has been push against the wall and crimped the hose. This is the problem 8 out 10 time but if it isnt let me know. There is more tricks.
