What is your question ? If you are talking about using this code to program your new radio, you need to supply your local dealer with this number. They will put it in their system and then give you a 4 or 5 digit code to enter to your radio.

Look for FOUR digit code in the user manual.
Disconnecting the battery has put the radio in SAFE mode.
If you can't get the code, then take it to the agents.
They will insert the code and get the radio working

You need to pull radio or have BMW pull radio and get serial # off radio, then BMW will run serial # to get security code for you.

Hi,

You can get these Ford codes from this site for £3.50

I have used them several times over the years as I repair radios. They will also text the code direct to your mobile which is extremely handy.

Cheap, quick and always accurate so I can confidently vouch for them.

Check your paper work for an Area Frequency Code and 4 digit security code.

If your radio says "COdE" use the "preset buttons" as "numbers" and put the security code in, one number at a time. If it is the right number it will flash 3 times. If not try again.

S70 instrument cluster not working

Hi,

I had a similar problem. The speedometer didn't work. This is going to sound a little strange, but, at some point the battery died. When the new battery was put in, all of a sudden the speedometer worked again. Can't explain it, but it's true. Maybe just disconnecting and re-connecting the battery would help you, BUT BE CAREFUL about the radio. When the battery is disconnected (or dies) you have to put the radio code in again to use your radio. Make sure you have the 4-digit radio code before you disconnect the battery. If you enter it 3 times and fail, google what to do then.

Hi,

I have got a Ford Mondeo and the same thing happened to me. I took the car to an official Ford dealership and they reprogrammed it for me and gave me a new code. And best of all they didnt charge me a penny.

Radio will not work

Hi
If the person before it had another stereo in the car or tok off the positive terminal without backup power to the ground and positive, and then they either put back the original radio or forgot about the anti theft system in radios now it can give you error, GM says to enter the unlock code "LOCKED" EVEN IF YOU know the number the radio has to be restored by the dealer, they have the code for your car to unlock the radio, the car dealer would need to take a look at the radio and will not tell you the master key code, as if they do that you can pass on the info and others can use it for illegal purposes.

Most of the time there is supposed to be a card in with the owners manuel with the code on it. If the card is not there or the code in the book you can call the dealer with vin number and they should be able to get it for you. Some places require the radio serial number to get it.

The only way is to call the dealer tell them ur battery died and now u need the code for player,call and ask for service have ur vin ready,and they will run u thru wat buttons to push and the code,if they dont do it over fone then u will have to come in,somtimes they ask due to theft,and its usally free.if my info was of any help to you please leave a comment or vote,note.thank you
