Question about Pride Health & Beauty

Legend SC3000 has a full charge but will not move forward. It moves in reverse just fine. It will move forward every once in a while, but the distance it goes varies. Sometimes 5 ft other times up to 200 ft before it stops. Any ideas?

As far as I know, it has never been worked on. I bought it from a friend who bought it new for her mother. She sold it to me when her mother passed. I do know that she used it outside. We bought it in the summer of 07. But we have not used it much. It usually sits in the room covered. I am now looking to sell it, but i need it to work.

When was the last time it was worked on? What was done? Do you drive it outside? Mike

Lets look at that model number and seriel number. I can look up it's history. Take the batteries to Advance or Auto zoon, Get them "Load Tested" it's free. Are there any flash codes or beep codes. the light on the console will flass or a beeping noise after you turn it on ? these are codes which we can tell what can be a problem. mike

96 ROVER DISC. Has strong reverse - won't engage any forward gears. Fluid seems full even when warm.

Make sure the 4wd shifter is in correct position and hasn't slipped out of correct spot to get you moving forward.

You can try shifting into manual 1 to get moving then once you get going shift the lever up into Drive. This should work, then drive it to a shop to have your ****** looked at.

With engine cold, 1991 Legacy starts and runs fine. Once warm, transmission acts as if it's in neutral, won't engage for forward or reverse.

I would check the transmission fluid level to make sure it's full. If it's full and still doesn't move you may have to take it to a repair shop.

Shift fine in forward gears but now does not shift into reverse. The truck will not pull in reverse. it is a 4 wheel dirve with a automatic trans.

Will it move if you put the transfer case in low range? If so the there's a good chance the reverse clutch is going out. Did it go all at once or did you notice some slipage? If it went all at once it could be a hydraulic problem or broken internal parts. It takes more pressure to apply reverse than the forward gears so it could a valve body or pump problem. Is it full of fluid, is the fluid dirty (brown or black)? I think Ford recommends changing the fluid at 30,000-50,000 miles change the transfer case oil too.

John deere x340 wont move

there is a release usually behind the seat that has to be pulled in order to push it physically. make sure that the release is pushed in for the forward/reverse to work.

if it runs without overheating issues but doesn't move forward or reverse....check your transmision fluid level...if its too low the vehicle won't move but the engine will run just fine.

Acura legend

I will require more information on this issue. Like how do you mean it won't move. In forward as well as reverse, does it try to move, etc.
