Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet
boot from xp cd and when asked where to install press 'd' (=delete partition) then press "L" (=confirmation) and thats it... your data are all gone by now...
next, create new partition, select "quick format" and continue the installation of XP.
this is not hard to do as xp has guided screens that will help you.

Boot with Installation CD. If your system is still working, you can use the Toshiba harware utility to change the boot sequence to start from CD, without having to enter BIOS setup.
When set up detects the (already) installed system, it will ask you if you want to repair or install. Say Install. It will by default install in C: partition. But since there is an installation there, setup will ask you whether to reformat.Say YES and follow instructions from there.
Hope it helps.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
