You will need to make sure that the unit is fully charged and that you have the headphones connected all the way or you will not be able to hear music.

My SwiMp3 (1G) player plays fine outside water but turns off in the water. Replaying and resetting only temporarily solves the problem. I have not been able to swim even one complete lap with my music...

Hi Pradeepdhill,

The firmware on your device may need updating. Please go to the FINIS website and upgrade your device with the newest firmware.

Songs from CDs won't play

Nick,

This is an easy fix. Most Mp3 players, the Aqua Mp3 player included, need to have the files in an mp3 format - not the CD format.

Simply convert your CD to Mp3 files on your computer using a software like Media Monkey http://www.mediamonkey.com/ (which has a free version). Once they are converted, then you can simply drag and drop them on to your Aqua Waterproof Mp3 player.

If you're using a Mac, then you can use iTunes to import the CD and then convert the files to mp3 within iTunes.

I hope this helps you get in the water and swimming to music soon.

Will not play

This happened to me as well.
I did a quick FAT not FAT32 quick format and copied ONLY mp3 files to the player and it worked.

So I had two problems. Wrong format, because I messed with it. And I had AV files and not mp3 files. It appears that my player only read mp3 format from FAT file system.

Downloading Ares free music

The current version of the swimp3 player will support "unlocked" music in the WMA or MP3 format. As long as you're able to create an unlocked or unencrypted version of the music or audio, you can simply copy that to the Finis Swimp3 Hard Drive. Like most mp3 players, the Drive has similar capabilities as a thumb drive or SD Card - so it's just drag and drop.

Of course, you're responsible for your own music ownership experience.

Have fun Swimming with Music.
