I sent my Milwaukee polisher off to get rebuilt and it came back and now runs reverse rotation? How do I fix this problem?

I sent it out and they basically replaced everything so I am sure the field was replaced. It cost me the same price if I would have bought a new one!

Did they put a field in it? I have seen some run backwards if the field it rotated 180 degrees. I would call the center that fixed it and send it back for them to repair properly. If you can give me some idea what they did I can try and trouble shoot it online for you

In turbo hydro 700 why would forward gears make the rear wheels go in reverse

Your differential is upside down. Ford model T's had the same problem. It was possible to mount the rear axle upside down which made the car go forward in reverse and backward in forward gears.

Magnetic drills have a safety system built into them so the motor will not run unless the magnet is on and the tool is sitting on between at least 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch steel. If your drill is sitting on enough steel you may have a problem with the sensor system inside the drill. Those problems are usually electronic parts related and, most of the time, they are R&R (Remove & Replace) method is used until you fix the problem.

Tool will not function, led flickers by trigger when attemting to use.

There is something making the motor turbine stick, i just fixed mine that was doing the same thing.

Remove the four screws holding the clutch/driver assembly on the top/front.

Use a pliers to rotate the motor gear shaft in the center of the shell until it moves freely, being careful not to damage the gear. mine was sticking in one spot so i just rotated it back and forth until it worked itself loose. There is most likely metal shavings or dirt clogging it and preventing it from rotating. I would clean any debris from inside before putting it back together and grease the moving parts if needed.

Attach a charged battery and pull the trigger in foreward and reverse positions to see if the drill works ok. Mine works like a charm now. One of my batteries is shot though, not sure if it had anything to do with the stuck motor turbine.

Milwaukee Polisher model 5460. Gear Case Replacement

you need to remove the pad first and then you will find 2 torx screws about a 25, remove them and the plate next if you have a dead blow hammer tap on the side of the gearcase where the screws were and the spindle assembly and bearings will jump out of the housing, then remove the 4 screws holding the gearcase to the motor housing and it will come apart. To reinsert the spindle assembly gently tap back into place with the hammer to reset the gears. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Miter saw motor is running back wards

I'd say it was the new wiring that was reversed. Motors cant really start reversing themselves on their own and the only other way it would seem reversed is if the blade was put on backwards...

So yes I think you have the wires reversed when you re-wired the cord.

Reverse sometimes does not engage.

Listen John, take the vehicle back to the tranny guy and tell him/her the problem. The reverse band in the tranny is obviously having a problem. They should at the least give you a deal to fix this. Good luck.
