Hi Joseph.
If the histogram looks OK (mind you that takes quite a bit of experience to judge properly) then your picture should be OK. If not, it may well be the calibration of your monitor that is the problem.
Out of curiosity, how are you judging that the histogram should produce a good exposure? Does the exposure look OK on the camera's monitor?
