Mfc-9320cw paper jam error yet no real jam want to reset

The most common problem is dirty paper pickup and feed rollers. Try cleaning the rollers with a clean lint-free cloth (not paper towels) moistened (not soaked) with a little distilled water. You can use rubbing alcohol in a pinch, but it tends to make the rubber brittle and crack over time. If the rollers feel very smooth, they may be worn down too much, and you should replace them. Next, look for stuck paper sensor flags. Make sure they move freely. There are a number of them at various points in the paper path. A printer tech will be able to find them all. The printer monitors paper motion with optical sensors. A little dust or toner powder in the optical path can cause a paper jam error. You should call a printer tech for deep cleaning and sensor cleaning.

Printer won't take paper

Regarding the paper not engaging with the Dell 1110 Mono Laser Printer, I previously read somewhere that taking iso-propanol (everyday rubbing alcohol, $1.00 for 24 ounces) and cleaning the centrally-located black roller (located just above the leading-edge of the paper) with a cotton-ball and the alcohol could solve the problem and it did -- My Printer Is WORKING. I was shocked! Actually, I couldn't find our bottle of alcohol, so I substituted with a chemically similar product. I used hand-sanitizer which is about 70% v/v ethyl alcohol -- a similar enough solvent. My Dell 1110 is working like it's brand new. Also, I wasn't able to rub the alcohol on the back side of the roller -- just a logistics problem that I couldn't solve without removing the entire roller. If anyone knows how to remove the rubber roller in 5 or less easy steps, I would love to know.

Sir! the problem of our kyocera mita fs 3800 is this that it gives us message that the paper is jam please open the cassette 1.and remove the paper. we opened the cassette 1 checked the tray but there is...

Try cleaning the paper feed rollers for that cassette. Sometimes the rollers get dirty causing the paper to slip and not feed from the cassette causing the machine to register a paper jam.

The rollers can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol and a cloth.

Feed jam

1) Be sure the paper tray is inserted all the way in.

2) Be sure you're using the right size of paper (width, length and thickness; paper that is too thick may jam a laser printer if it is not configured properly)

3) Be sure you're using the correct TYPE of paper. Paper designed for ink-jets sometimes produce paper jams on laser printers.

4) If the paper was jammed before, you may have a small piece of paper jammed in the printer rollers. Open the printer and very carefully look for small pieces of paper on the rollers and all the paper paths.

5) Also, some printers are very picky about how much paper you have in your paper trays. Place enough paper on the paper trays so that it is about 3/4 full, no more, no less.

6) The paper rollers that pick up the paper may be dirty with dust. Use a q-tip and 2 drops of rubbing alcohol to wipe the rollers clean. Rotate the rollers with your fingers to be sure that all the surface of the rollers are wiped clean. Be sure to use 91 % rubbing alcohol; carefully read the label of the alcohol and use the one that DOES NOT contain anything except rubbing or isopropyl alcohol and water, no glycerin or any other additives. Wait at least 1 hr before using the printer again to be sure that the alcohol has completely evaportaed .

Please, report back if you need further assistance.

Printer says paper jam when there is no paper jam hit the ok button and it will print out a paer fine and then say paper jam again. repeat

the rollers that feed the paper into the machine have a a set time limit to do so... if the rollers cann't do it in this time limit then you get a paper jam. you either need to clean the rollers with isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol ) and a rag or replace the rollers...

Reload printer error

Try removing the paper tray, and look under where the paper goes. You should see a rubber pick up roller. Try cleaning it with a rag and some rubbing alcohol. The roller is probably slipping and not carrying the paper in far enough! Good luck John

Dell 1700n Jamming

try "rotating the pick up tires". (dell tech's phrase, not mine). pull the paper tray clear out of cabinet and look up inside the bottom of the printer. you will see a t shaped assembly with 2 large rubber tires (rollers). pull the assembly down (spring loaded) and peel the tires off the plastic mounting rollers. turn the tires inside out and replace them.
