Problem for Samsung DVD-V4600 DVD Player / VCR Combo

I had a video tape get stuck in it. I tried ff and

I had a video tape get stuck in it. I tried ff and reverse but I couldn't get it out. I took it apart and untangled the video tape and was able to remove it in tact. But the VCR won't work for other tapes. I just won't launch, ff or reverse. Any suggestions?

There is a small pencil dia, into which a lever enters to unlock it on the underside of the cassette which when pushed in and unlocks both sides on which the tape enabling FF & RW & PLAY. The pin must have got its angle changed or manged to change wile removing the stuck tape..................sodeep
