Re: wireless keyboard and rechargeable mouse IVR-63100

I had the same problem. Then I figured out that the cable has 2 different connectors on the end ( USB and PS2) and I had them both plugged into the computer. I unplugged the PS2 connection, leaving the USB plugged in and IT NOW WORKS!!

How to connect a microsoft mouse to a microsoft 1447 dongle

The thw wireless mouse is paired from fabric wirh USB dongle for same mouse. You can't connect a wireless keyboard to it because they are no different frequency. Actually it's hightly improbable that you even could connect the USB dongle of a mouse with another different mouse. Explanations is logical: presumeyou are in a big office whate another 1 users have wireless keyboards or "mice". Now, imaginge the mess if the dongle of your keyboard should control the mouse of another 9 usrs.
Now, it's competely different with bloetooth keyboards and"mice"

The wireless keyboard and mouse are not working.

  • Check to ensure that the wireless receiver is plugged into your computer. Press the "Connect" button on the bottom of the receiver to attempt reconnecting your mouse and keyboard to the computer. If your mouse and keyboard use Bluetooth, ensure that your computer's Bluetooth is active and detects the mouse and keyboard.
  • Check to see if the keyboard and mouse are turned on. If the power indicator lights on the keyboard and mouse are not green, press the "Power" button to turn the keyboard and mouse on.
  • Check the batteries of the mouse and keyboard. If the batteries are dead, replace them with fresh batteries and reconnect the mouse and keyboard to the computer by pressing the "Connect" button on the bottom of the wireless receiver attached to the computer. If your mouse and keyboard use rechargeable batteries, let the batteries recharge before using the device again.
  • Uninstall and reinstall your wireless keyboard and mouse drivers. Sometimes, the Logitech drivers are at fault for a bad connection. Use the Control Panel to uninstall the old drivers, then visit the Logitech website and install the latest drivers for your keyboard and mouse.
  • Search the Logitech Support Database. If your keyboard and mouse are still failing to function properly, visit the Logitech Support website and browse the support page for your product for specific solutions.

I bought my lap top with a wireless mouse. It worked fine until two days ago. It will not do anything now.

Replace or recharge the batteries, if rechargable. Try to reestablish communication between the USB stick and the mouse using the buttons provided on both devices (see instructions).
If this can't help there is a problem that can't be fixed for a reasonable price and you should buy another mouse.

Wireless mouse does not work after changing always has in the past The Dell computer and mouse is probably 8 years old but has always worked.

Try moving the mouse receivers usb plug in to another port. Unplug any new devices and restart computer. Then replug in any new usb devices.
If still not working.......
Look at Office Depot and other office stores for a replacement wireless mouse. I have seen them as low a $9.99 on up. You might even want to upgrade and get a wireless mouse and keyboard set.

CE0682 logitech mouse

"Normal" batteries are 1.5 Volts per "Cell" However Ni-Cads, rechargeables, each "Cell" is only 1.2 Volts. So the rechargeables simply may not work... If they do work, then there is NO reason why not.

HP wireless mouse, interfere with each other

The con's about wireless mice and keyboards are that the signals can conflict with each other. See if you can look on your current mice to find the frequency they operate on. If you know what it is, than you can buy one that operates on a different frequency.

In an office setting this can be a big problem.

I my myself prefer wired, faster.

Microsoft Wireless Receiver/Mouse - changing the frequency doesn't help

Hi, I look after an office with 10 Microsoft setups. They tend to jump to another receiver after a battery change. The best way, and boring way, is to try starting only one machine. confirm the mouse and keyboard are working, then switch the next one on and repeat.
We have bought logitek keyboards for 2 of the users. These do not interfere with the Microsoft one, but sometime with each other!
Answer- go wired ;-)
