Be careful to allow the new door gasket to relax for at least a day before doing the installation. Take it out of the box and lay it out in a circle to help get any kinks out of it.

Also, when installing the new gasket, go slowly when stretching it over the edges of the washer drum and the door edge, being extra careful to make sure you align the gasket properly on the washer. You might want to take a digital picture of the existing gasket before you remove it, so you can refer to it when reinstalling the new gasket.

Some models have a port for the water inlet on the gasket, if your's does, install the gasket over the inlet first, then move onto the rest of it. If your's doesn't have a inlet port opening in the gasket, just be sure you have the gasket orientation correct.

Replacing a door gasket/boot is one of the things that most homeowners can do themselves and save yourself having to pay for a technician.

Here's a exploded line drawing of your washer, so you can see the parts and order of installation before you dive into taking things apart.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

I don't see why not. Your manual should give you instructions. Here's a generic video that you can watch to see what you think. It will give you an idea of where the parts are, how they come off, where they go back on and what the pitfalls could be.

My hl-p5063w had a bad color wheel so I replaced it. Now the tv will not power on, the

There are a few common pitfalls to avoid when replacing the wheel.

1. There are two plugs from the wheel that connect nearby. One is a conventional plug you have to be careful with as easy to break the wires.

2. The other is a ribbon cable--it only has on the flat end contacts on one side---it is quite easy to put it in BACKWARDS where the contacts make no connection.

There can be another issue if you get the set up and running--color will look odd--blue seems wrong etc---that will not stop set from coming on and is a jumper that needs to be removed.

The instructions for most of these wheels do not mention any of this so.............

2007 Chevy Cobalt. I need to replace the brakes and rotors but I've never done it before.

This is not something that can really be handled in a web site. The best thing to do would be find someone who is willing to supervise and explain, while you do this yourself. The next best would be to watch someone else do this a few times. Behind that would be getting a manual with good phots, and do it step by step.

96R19 Wrist Watch: How can I change the battery...

A general observation - Take you watch to a shop to have it done professionally. Some watches are difficult to get into and there are lots of pitfalls for the unwary. I've seen far too many watches ruined by people wanting to save a bit of money by trying to change batteries themselves.

I have done hundreds of these sets and can tell you everything you will need and also how to access the advanced menu for adjustment when you do the repair.

There are pitfalls to avoid and things you need to do when you do the fix.

Oil leak from valve cover gaskets on 1999 Toyota Avalon. How involved is the change out of the gaskets? Any potential pitfalls or things to be wary of?

not much mate. pretty easy. Just get the original gaskets from the agent and also get a tube of engine silicon from repco or any auto shop. Its a bolt off and on situation. Make sure no dirt and grime falls into the cams when taking off the valve cover.
