I have LG over the range microwave and the keypad will not let me enter 0's. Such as 2:00 minutes cooking time. I can enter 2:25 but the keypad will not accept 0's.

On this microwave, you just need to enter the correct cooking time and power level. This will clear the previous time and power level that you entered. (This works since you need to use the Options button to do multi-stage cooking.)
For simple, one-stage cooking, you only need to set the cooking time. The power level is automatically set to High.
If you want to set the power level to any other level, use the Power Level button.
1. Use the number buttons to set a cooking time. You can enter a time from one second to 99 minutes and 99 seconds. To select a time greater than one minute, enter the seconds too. (For example, to set a cooking time of 20 minutes, enter 2, 0, 0, 0.)
2. If you want to set the power level to a level other than High, press the Power Level button, and then use the number buttons to enter the power level.
3. Press the ENTER/START button to begin cooking. If you want to change the power level, press the STOP/ CLEAR button before you press the ENTER/START button, and then enter all the instructions again.
Push the microwave door tightly closed. The computer will not start cooking until the door is closed for safety reasons. Some models of microwave will give a warning on the screen if the door is open. 2
Ensure you have programmed a heat setting, entered a cooking time and pressed the "Start" button on the microwave's keypad. Check that the microwave is not set to "Defrost" mode. 3
Unplug the microwave and wait for one minute. This measure will reset the microwave's internal computer if it has frozen or scrambled. Plug the microwave back in and try again. 4
Ensure the keypad lock mode is inactive. Most microwave ovens have a lockout feature that prevents children from starting the microwave while unsupervised. Lockout mode is usually deactivated by holding down the button that bears a padlock symbol

The
first thing I would suggest is a hard
reset. Unplug the unit for a
minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.
If that doesn't work,
leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes.
If it's still not working, you probably have a bad membrane keypad.
Direct spraying of
cleaners on the keypad and steam from the
cooktop can damage the controls.
I always recommend that
you spray non-ammonia
cleaner on a
soft cloth (not a paper towel which can scratch) and gently wipe the
keypad.
And I always recommend
that you use the vent fan whenever you're cooking on the stove
top to keep heat, steam, and
grease out of the controls and door panels.
If it does not dry out
over time, it may need to be manually dried or blown out.
If the keypad is bad, you may need to replace the control panel frame, which comes with a new keypad.

Press "Power" until you get to the level you want. Then enter the # of minutes on the keypad (CANNOT use express cook times.) An alternating runnig hum will let you know the setting is working.
When the microwave sounds okay, but there's no heat, one of the internal door switches, the high voltage circuitry, or the circuit board may have a problem. To resolve this problem, you need the assistance of a qualified appliance repair technician.
That said, you can get free estimates on the cost of a repair but you should also consider a replacement which may be a better option for you.
What they do not tell you about over the stove microwaves is that they are constantly deteriorating due to the steam, oil, and other cooking fumes from the stove below. As a result, their life expectancy is definitely diminished.
