Ive got my jensen vm 9512 wired in but i cannot see anytink dare is but no video.. a warning thing keeps cumin up,.. is it safe to wire to the cigarette lighter as the handbrake wont work it.

It's not safe to wire at the cigarette lighter you must hook it up to the handbrake but after you connect it there is a few steps to program the screen before. You can find it how to in your installation manual.

Cobra Xrs-9960g I need to buy the USB cable to update my Aura GPS. Anybody know where I can purchase it? If so, Please point me in the right direction! Thanks; Mike C.

Take it to Radio Shack and look for a cable in the camera accessories section. You need a Mini-USB to USB Type-A Adapter Cable. I have also seen a universal USB cable in the computer accessories section at Wal-Mart. It may have the brand name Phillips on it in a white package.

Car DVD player will only play sound through wireless headphones, not through speakers

We have a GMC Envoy which also does not allow us to play the sound from the dvd player through the car's speakers. Although we purchased the vehicle new with the dvd player already installed, it was installed by the dealer, making it after-market. I assume those that were installed in the factory work differently. Maybe this is the case with your's as well. Good luck!!

Fuse for the cigarette lighter - Vauxhall Vectra 03

for a 53 plate right had drive vectra the fuse for the cigarette lighter is in the passangers side fuse box.

open the passanges door, open the glove box, the side of the dashboard revealed by opening the door comes off. on mine it is very tight and has a warning on saying it contains an airbag - it does not.

inside are four columns of fuses, the cigarette lighter is hte bottom fuse of the third column from the left - f22 i think. it is a green 30.

Wireless headphones

If you're handy, you could rig up a wireless solution to this. The problem is that you have two screens, each presumably playing a different movie. If you purchased an off-the-shelf wireless transmitter accessory, you could connect it to one of the screens. But then if you purchased a second wireless transmitter accessory, and connected it to another screen, you would need to make sure both wireless transmitters were operating on different frequencies, so that each person could wear a different pair of headphones and listen to their own movie. Hopefully this makes sense. You could use either an FM Modulator to do this, or an Infrared Audio (IR) transmitter... Remember, these units aren't like factory installed headrest systems; they don't have the wireless audio transmitter already built-in, so you can't just buy wireless headphones and listen to them.
