Question about Polk Audio M3 Speaker

Computer stopped recognizing the speakers

I've had my speakers for 3 months and they've worked fine. Then a week ago they just suddenly completely stopped working. I can't even hear it w/ headphones. I've made sure that volume control settings are fine and that mute is unchecked. When I checked the Sound and Volume Settings on my Control Panel, the speakers listed were the old ones I had before these speakers. I've checked all the connections and tried unplugging the speakers multiple times, but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My computer stopped recognizing my speakers one day for no apparent reason...the volume button does not appear on my toolbar, and the control panel shows no speakers connected. I have tried unplugging them & also restarting the computer to no avail. HELP!!!

Re: Computer stopped recognizing the speakers

You need to reinstall the latest drivers for your present sound device then restart your pc then check it. It will work surely! you should install the drivers that came with your sound devices! thats it!

Ive had my speaker for a week and it stopped working suddenly. Ive had it plugged in to recharge but the light is not blinking yes Ive confirmed outlet is working etc.

A bit more information is needed but here is a couple of thing to try. If these are wireless then make sure the send/receive unit is properly seated. If these are amplified speakers (speaker has the amp built in) then check the fuse for them. If these are wired speakers then you need to check the connecters.

My yamaha YSP 1000 all of a sudden is not turning on. I have tried a different lead, but it still does not come on. Can you please suggest what the problem might me and the solution. I would also like to...

Replace with a 22nf capacitor - Maplin part number N38CN
the new maplin part has a higher voltage rating and is bigger. it will need to be fitted with the leads extended with wire to get it to fit.

My infinity ps210 stops putting out any bass. It was working fine a few days ago but it just stops working without any obvious reason. I bought it fourteen months ago from amazon and I've hardly used it....

Hey. I have two PS210's One popped and stopped working 9 months in to it. Under warranty the technician said that Infinity produced these speakers wit ha known heat related problem. Some part burns up. He replaces them all the time. You can expect about a year's service as my seconf one just popped and died. It costs about $153 to fix it here in phoenix. Will never buy Infinity again from what I know

Stopped working

Sorry I don't have a solution, but the speakers have done the same with us. Power comes on, some sound like the wire shorting out, but otherwise no sound. Tried different connection wires, different computers (mac and pc) but no go on any of them. So, I also don't think it has anything to do with you deleting some files.

Jensen JS1000-A sub stopped working, why?

Is is possible that the receiver's subwoofer configuration turned off? double check your speakers setup in the receiver...Just an idea.
