Question about Marantz PM7200 2-Channel Amplifier
Hi There Jan6472,
It sounds like an overheating problem....You are playing for a while then click off it goes, then it cools down and clicks back on....
So please have a good look at your set up....do you have any cloth material doillies or books or magazines blocking the air holes on the top/back/bottom of the amplifier..
If you have please remove then to ensure that the air can circulate around...make sure thta there are small rubber feet on the bottom, to lift the amplifier off the cabinet its sitting on...
Sometimes these feet get removed for some reason and the air cannot move up thru the electronics in side....
If all this is OK then its another cause for overheating, inside the electronics and there is no simple solution other than a repair shop job....
Cheers From YUBEUT
