The video wont continue to play,it will play for a second then it stop ,the loading icon just keeps on a circling motion...

Once the page has loaded and the video is starting to play, pause the video and let it load completely before playing. The problem is either youtube and some specific videos and/or you have a slow connection and are having difficulties with streaming content.

It is called buffering. The video's tend to play and stops at some point and then continue playing because it is still loading the video. Just wait for the video to load completely before playing. You will notice this thru the red indication bar align with the play button. If the loading does not finish, try reloading the webpage by pressing F5.

I suspect you have a very slow internet connection and you're playing high quality video, to solve this particular problem change your current speed by asking the help of your internet provider or change the quality of the video.

This is very common. You have a bad BluRay laser diode. Discs can sometimes transfer a very small amount of static electricity. That can short out a laser. You will need to get the laser replaced by a tech or send it back to Sony if it's still in warranty.

usually this happen when you have slow broadband connection and video is need more speed then your broadband connection speed if you have 512kbps internet speed you do not have to wait this long to watch video on you tube. check your internet connection speed for you tube video.

its not settings on it that will help you fix the problem is the processor if you don't have one fast and capable enough for you to play video games in it, it will not play them effectively and this will keep going, you need to buy a better processor

Region hack for the old driver:
Method 1:

Hold down L1, Circle, and Select while booting until movie starts

Method 2:

Press in L3 (the left analog stick) straight and hard until movie starts



Region hack for the new driver:
1: Start the PS2, enter the Browser

2: Insert DVD, wait for the CD icon

3: Select the CD Icon

4: Press Square and keep it down

5: Press Circle and keep it down (Do not release Square, you should now be pressing two buttons)

6: Wait for the DVD menu

7: Release the keys

8: Start the movie with the play icon or the movie start icon

Take a Q-Tip and do light circular motions on the laser eye.
Often the case, you may just need to take a soft cloth and clean your video game disc.
It's one of the two.

You might have PSP stop reading UMD discs, First you will do some trouble shooting with what might be wrong with your PSP unit.

first is the Disc Spinning motor. This will not let The disc in the UMD spin. On a working PSP you will hear the disc start to spin up, then you can hear the laser start to twitch, followed by the laser motor moving the laser down the rails.

2nd is something stuck in the UMD gear, try to clean the gear of arm of dust, plastic, soda, and even hair.

and at the last is the actual laser itself. It will not focus the laser to read the UMD disc.
