Question about Forfex FX 766 Hair Trimmer
I am not sure why my trimmer won't charge. One day it was fine and I do keep it plugged in all of the time because I use it frequently, yet now the light is on as if charging yet the unit is dead. I know the blades are good and well cleaned. Does the unit need a new battery ? I can't figure out how to open this. Also, could it be the charger? I cleaned the connection points to make sure the charge was getting connected and changed wall outlets. Any ideas or who I can have repair this in So. Cal. ? I hate to have to buy another. Thanks, angelhair
It is most likely the battery, don't even try to open the case if you don't know what you are doing, Forfex will not replace the batteries in these small trimmers as they state it is too labor intensive, I am working on obtaining batteries for these units.
They have to be soldered in.

If there is just no charge after you plug in for awhile, my guess is you need to get a new battery for it
