A laser prints a whole page at a time, some pictures or pdf's require more memory than is installed on a original machine, you can buy additional memory modules to install on your printer which will allow you to print the entire document. I bought two 1 meg modules for about $50 each and have not had a problem since. Check your user manual or the lexmark web site to make sure that you are getting the right memory. The lexmark memory is about half the size of normal computer memory.

Printer Docuprint CP105b tells me that memory is full so cannot print. How do I clear the memory, there are no documents in queue

Hi, check the space of your hard disk if it is full or not. When printing, the system created temporary file to the memory or HDU space. once it detected that your hard disk is full it can not generate temporary file, it where the remarks coming the memory is full. If in case you still have plenty of hard disk space, the isolation would be in your printer how long is it working and printing. printer has built in counter that once it reaches to its maximum count it will display same error. and the solution is to download printer counter resetting tools on the internet defending the type of printer you have. you may browse thru google with it as "printer counter resetting tools for CP105b"

Removed paper jam and now copies are blank.

Drum Memory
Make about 5 to 10 prints; then, leave the machine in the office environment (normal temperature/humidity conditions)

* This symptom is noticeable in a low temperature/ humidity environment, and is absent under normal environmental conditions.

* This symptom occurs in keeping with the primary charging roller rotation (38 mm).

MFC-620cn fax-2440C error 38

The only way to solve a Machine Error 38 is if there is an item/broken paper inside the machine that you can actually reach. Judging by the sound your machine seem to make, I'd rather guess that you got a mechanical error on your hands, which would require the machine to be sent to service to have it solved. Check for bits of paper or other loose items, otherwise - service.

My printer is showing a code c-38-51 and will not work

Hi, C-3851 is related to the fusing unit. Specifically, the lower roller is at an abnormally low temperature. Unfortunately you cannot reset the code in a normal manner. Konica Minolta, for health and safety reasons, make fuser related codes engineer resetable only.
I'd rather not post the procedure here, so drop me a private email and I will advise on the procedure.

Error 409 Memory full on Monarch 9850 printer

409 is a memory full error, so if you have reset the printer, then your memory should be "flushed". You may also have an incorrect flow control, so when you send too much data to the printer, you can get a 409.

Not knowing which your issue could be, try calling the company's support number 1-800-543-6650.

Incompatible cartridges

I don't have an MP145 but from what I know that printer uses the 830/831 and 40/41 canon cartridges. I'm not familiar w/ the 37/38 as we don't have it here but from the pictures that I've seen they look identical. Unfortunately, Canon may have done some region coding like HP as I've only seen the 37/38 in the European websites. You can try it but I would suggest you changed it to the 40/41. Also if you have the original box of the printer, it should indicate there what cartridges are compatibe. If the 37/38 is not written on it then its not compatible. Hope this helps.

My mfc215c doesnt appear to recognise magenta

So let me give you some clues reading the recorded errors:

A1 : (even a brand new model has this error which simply means COVER OPEN/Close Cover (e.g. when installing carts)

38: puuuhhh error starting with a 3 has always to do with the traveling of the printhead.
Or there might be a defective part within the gear wheels.

84: something to do with the paper roller feeder (you might have run out of paper or paper wasnt feed in right position: some paperjam afterwards. This error can be related to error 38.

if you had done the maintenance cleaning procedures and didnt have any luck with good printing, there is only left to say:
print head clogged and needs replacement!

(The main reason for this is either having used generic ink which will definitely destroy the ph within some time period or you have paused the machine for too long time so that the ph has dried out.)
