Question about Microwave Ovens
When popping popcorn microwave loses all power after popcorn is removed and door is closed. about 20 to 30 min. later power is restored but clock is reset? what sensor or overload protection would cause this? no problems cooking anything else?
It sounds like your magnetron is overheating and its thermostat is resetting.
Try it with a cup of water in one corner and see if that helps.
Otherwise, most manufacturers have a warranty of several years on the magnetron.
