Make sure that it is installed properly ... going under not OVER. Does the paper feed when the paper feed key is depressed ??

1. Lift the paper holder up.
2. Fold the leading edge of the paper roll 3 to 5 cm. (Do not fold it slantwise.)
3. Insert the paper roll from the left side of the paper holder and make sure the paper
roll is set in the proper direction (with the paper feeding from the bottom).
4. Insert the leading edge of the paper into the opening directly behind the print
mechanism.
5. Press the paper feed key and feed the paper under the edge of the paper cutter.

U.S. Office Machine Co., 5722 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90042. 323-256-2111. "We specialize in the repair and restoration of all your old typewriters, and we have a very large selection of parts and supplies. We have been in business since 1962 and have had many satisfied customers." One customer writes: "The guy who owns the place is a WW2 veteran named Jesse Flores. He's been there 46 years. His son Danny handles most of the repairs now. They also repair the old fashioned adding machines and mechanical calculators. Around Christmas, he gives out toys to needy children and has helped organize the local Christmas parade in the past and such. The building he is in used to be a theatre back in the 1910s, and the fellow has photos of him with every coucilman and mayor, as well as Senators and national politicos from the early 60s to the present, on his walls."

We have a SHARP EL-2196BL printing calculator, but no user manual. We can't get it to print the answer when we are adding. It shows on the screen, but not the paper. Also, it just keeps adding up...

You can download the manual from the manufacturer's web site at

How do I replace the printer paper in my sharp EL-1192BL calculator

Feed the paper into a VERY thin slot on the back side of the calculator. This thin slot is below the removable clear plastic paper guide and is very inconspicuous.
