Depends on your can purchase and download a program called motorola phone tools to your computer and downlaod the pictures and make ringtones and such.....that is nifty :)

OR, you can take a picture, and it should give you the option to send as email......

if you have t-mobile, you can send the pictures to 222 and go to to access that.....and downlaod those to the computer that way

  • If you connect your e-mail account to your phone, you can e-mail yourself pictures to view them on a PC.
  • An easy wireless way to transfer photos is a cloud service such as Dropbox or Google Drive. Both these services have apps for your phone and applications for a PC.
  • You can also plug your phone into your PC using a USB cable that you probably use to charge your device. Pictures are usually found in a "Pictures" folder on the phone's hard drive.

How to Transfer Pictures or Video from your Cellphone/Mobile to your Computer

With the increasing quality of Cellphone camera's , more and more people are wanting to copy their pictures from their phone's to their computers.

There are basically 4 ways to accomplish this.

  1. USB Cable
  2. Bluetooth
  3. Card Transfer
  4. E-mail
# 1 USB Cable

One of the most convenient ways to transfer your pictures is to use the USB cable if your phone was supplied with one. If your phone was not bought with a cable , you can purchase the cable from the store where the the phone was bought.

You will usually also need the manufacturer's software like Nokia pc suite for Nokia phones which can be downloaded from the website of the manufacturer. Here is a list for the most popular phone brands sites.

Many phones also support the option to use the phone as a flash drive so to speak. When you insert a cable , the mobile would typically ask in what mode to use the cable in for instance : Print , Storage or Nokia mode. If you select the storage mode , you may transfer your pictures from the phone the same way you would from a flash drive.

# 2 Bluetooth

If you are using a laptop or bluetooth enabled PC , using bluetooth can also be a handy way to transfer your pictures. To do this , enable bluetooth on you computer and from the taskbar , right click on the bluetooth icon and select recieve a file.

Then on your phone , go the the picture or video you want to send and select options and send via bluetooth. This will vary from phone to phone , so look around for the send with bluetooth option.

Your phone will then search for a computer in range and once you have found your computer , hit the send button.

The transfer will then take place and your computer will ask you where to save the image.

# 3 Card Transfer

Most phones these days have a removable memory card. This is a easy way to transfer a large amount of content from your phone to your computer.

Simply remove the SD or Micro SD card from your phone (refer to your manual) and insert it into a external card reader or your laptop's built in card reading unit.

You may also need a micro to sd converter which can be bought either with a micro SD card or separately from most chain department stores.

You will then be able to transfer the content like you would from your digital camera.

# 4 E-mail

If your cellphone supports e-mail and it is set up , and you only need to transfer one or two pictures , e-mail can be very helpful.

To do this , go to the image you wish to send and in the options , select send via e-mail. This option differs between brands and models so check your manual. You can then simply send the picture to your PC e-mail address and retrieve the image from there.

Please remember to rate this tip if you found it useful.

Kind Regards

What do I need to do down load my pictures on my Motarola V-3 to my laptop?

The easiest way to get pictures from your phone to your computer is to e-mail them to yourself. Find the picture on your phone, and send the picture to your e-mail just as you would send it to another person's phone. Then, check your e-mail, and download the picture.

I need to know how to get my pictures off of my Kyocera Torino and onto my computer. I dont know if it matters but Metro PCS is my service provider.

Open the picture on your phone. Look for the "send" option it may be on the menu so you have to access the menu. E-mail the picture to yourself.

Then just open the e-mail from your computer and save the attachment.

My SD card. wont read on my phone keeps saying empty it is 4 GB and it says it is in but its not showing any pictures up.everything i do dont work. please help me. i tryed everything.

Just a thought: if your PC is able to read the card, copy all the card's contents to the PC's hard drive. Install this program on your PC and use it to format the SD card. Then, copy the files back to your card, and insert it in your phone.
Hope it works for you
Cheers! Carlos

There are 3 ways of doing this:

1. If you have internet service in your cell phone, send the picture to your e-mail address(ex. . Then go to your mail, open it, click save to (choose my pictures, computer or whichever file you want it) or click on save mail (save mail will keep your picture in your online save folder and you may access your picture form anywhere you can log on to your e-mails)

2. Go to a store that has photo services. Give them your phone xd card, they will download to a CD. Take the CD to your computer and download the pictures.
