Yahoo email account

My email account keeps me from deleteing, replying, or writing to others. It also does not keep any addresses from others. I wrote several times and they fix the problem, and I can go ahead and look atr my email where I can delete, reply, or write to others. But next time I get on to look I am back to where I can't do any of that. Ever since Ive upgraded yahoo's email I just been having problems. What is going on what is the problem on yahoo;s end or my. Well I don't think its my computer cause I went to the library to try my account there and it wouldn't let me do anything, either. So let me know again. Or one other thing it won't let me do, so many emails down it saids its loading.......
Well please check on it, lets try this again. Thanks michelle

Re: yahoo email account

Try using the original non-beta account. The older account profiles seem to work better, and there is some lag (server slowness) in Yahoo in general, if something is just not working, either click on the link once more or refresh the page.

Hope that helps!

A hacker change my yahoo mail confirmation & password

I am sorry to hear that someone has hacked into your Yahoo account and changed your password. There are a couple of methods you can try to resolve this problem. First thing to do is to try and log into your account by entering your user name and instead of entering the password that you already know will not work, click on the "forgot my password" link. When you click this link and report that you do not have your password, it will give you a couple of different options to recover it. If you still have access to an alternate email account that you listed on file with Yahoo when you created your Yahoo email you can send a password reset to that email and recover your account quickly. If you did not specifiy an alternate email address or someone has changed the one you had on file so you cannot receive a password reset at an address that you still have access to - then try answering the security questions you have on file to verify your identity. There should be three questions on file that you should know the answers to. If you cannot answer these questions, then its time to contact Yahoo customer service direct and explain to them - NOT that you have forgotten your password but that the security on your email account has been compromised and you need to stop access until this has been resolved. They will ask you questions about people that you frequently email and others things about your account that only you would know. It takes 24 hours to reset an email account after your identity has been compromised. If you are unable to locate the customer service number for yahoo here are a few suggestions:

UK Customer Care:

Yahoo! AU/NZ contact info = . These are possibilities:
Yahoo! 7
Phone: (02) 8288 4600
(02) 8925 0100

Yahoo Asia/Philippines contact info:

You need to contact Yahoo? = com
Yahoo! Customer Service
Yahoo Personal Email: 866-492-4664 (small fee)
(408) 349-1572
8am - 5pm M-F (Pacific Time)
The E-Mail address for Yahoo! customer care is
cc-advoc@yahoo-inc. com .com,. If you are in the united states, customer service for security issues is reachable by dialing either on e of the following two numbers: Security: 866.722.3425 ???1-866-492-4664

I just want to confirm that whether samsung s5333 supports push email or everytime we will have to download emails ourselves

Hello try the instructions below, if you do not have gmail or yahoo then you need to find the server info of your email provider or post the name of your email service provider so i can look up their info.

Gmail Account/Server Info
For Gmail, the configuration is
SMTP server:
SMTP port: 587
Secure Connection: TLS

Incoming server type: IMAP4
IMAP4 Server:
IMAP4 Port: 993
Secure Connection: SSL

In your Gmail account, go to
Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > IMAP Access > Enable IMAP

Yahoo Account/Server Info
For Yahoo,
Incoming (pop3)
Port: 995

Port 465

Yahoo IMAP settings:
Port: 993
Secure Connection: SSL

1. Delete the previously not working Gmail account in your phone
2. Press Menu
3. Select My Accounts
4. Choose the proper type of email account: Do NOT select "Google", but Exchange ActiveSync!
5. On the next screen fill out the Email address:
do not write, instead use!
6. The username will be typed in automatically
7. Type in the password
8. Press Next
9. Press OK for the activation
10. On the next screen type in the server URL:
11. Set Use SSL to ON (button turns green)
12. Press Set (left below)
13. On the next screen set the options you need: Email sync, Calendar sync, Contact sync, Task sync (below is another option in case of conflicts between data on the phone and the server)
14. There are further more options if you press the gear icon (sync: push/manual, push days/hours)
15. Press Done (left below)
16. Wait and see: voil?, push work like charm.

I received an email from in spain. Even though I too use yahoo I have not been able to reply. System does not recognize his address, yet that was the address shown in the "sender...

It is a spam email, one that is trying to steal personal information from you in order to use your identity to purchase things you do not want, and destroy your credit score. DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.
The email address does not exist because it is a fake address, designed to look real so that you reply to it with information that the scam artist desires. Mark this email as spam, and others like it in the future so that you and others will not be taken advantage of.

Establish a new free email account with and use it to request support/technical
assistance with your buffdaddy141 account.
If they cannot offer help, simply use the new free email account to re-establish all your
email contacts - using the paper hardcopy backup of all your email contact list and whitepaper list.
Alternatively, establish a free email account with (Google email), thru which
you can specify at account creation a "backup" email account (which doesn't have to be a account) - thus giving email support a pre-approved place to send (or forward) emails
and perhaps a whitelist database (a database of SPAM filters and "allowed" addresses).

Hi Ruksre,

Check to see if you have entered your email ID & password correctly. If so & if this keeps bothering you then it looks like someone has hacked into your Yahoo Mail Account and changed the password. You better get in touch with the officials at Yahoo. They might have a better answer and also a solution for your problem. Don't worry. This happens all the time. The way to avoid it is to keep a long and confusing password (not confusing to you but to a hacker) and keep changing it every 15 to 20 days.
Also keep an alternate email ID on another email service provider like gmail or rediffmail or whatever. This will help you in many ways. For example if you forget your password for your yahoo account then you can opt for Forgot Password... and redirect the yahoo server to send it to your second or alternate email account and vice versa. But this can only be possible if, while registering fro the first time, you have submitted the alternate email id to yahoo. In case, God willing, your yahoo mail starts again then go to the settings in the My Account page and give an alternate email id. But make sure that the alternate email id you give them, exists.

I hope you get your stuff back online. Good luck to you.

IF you havent accessed your Yahoo id for long time, when you try to access it, you will get an Authorisation ( Verification code ). you have to enter it.

logon to and enter your email id - without and enter password, you will find a small window below the username and password to enter the code, enter the code and it should let you access your emails.

Before doing this, Try Clearing Cookies and Temporary internet files from Internet Explorer.

Open Internet Explorer - Click on Tools on Top bar ( menu ) click Internet Options and Click Delete Cookies/ Temp files or Delete all Button and click OK

Email set up problems

from the data you have given, me, it sounds like you are using Either Outlook, or the bundled Windows Mail service.
What is happening, is that an email your program is trying to send, an email with "test" in the subject line, but is unable to because it cannot connect to the server. looking at the string, I see several problems. make sure your settings are configured a mentioned below:
  • Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: (Use SSL, port: 995)
  • Outgoing (SMTP) Server: (Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication)
  • Account Name/Login Name: your Yahoo! ID (your email address without the "")
  • Email Address: your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g.,
If this doesn't resolve your problem, refer to this page for more information. (Note: if you do not subscribe and pay in to a "Yahoo Plus" plan, this could also pose a problem, as Yahoo does not allow you to use third-party email programs with their "free" service, as they like to restrict it to webmail only. If you want a free email service that *does* however, I strongly suggest you check out google's Gmail service [what I use])
