Question about GE Nautilus 24" Built-in Dishwasher

1 Answer

GE Nautilus Dishwasher soap door

The motor to the timer stopped working so I replaced it. Everything was fine in putting it back together but I'm unable to figure out how the soap door latch is suppose to go back. I can't seem to get it to function correctly. I don't know if I have the soap door lever in correctly. The dishwasher is a GE Nautilus GSD3610F00A. Thank you for your help.

When I took the timer off of the door to replace it, a white lever that connects with a black lever which both together help open and close the soap door came off, along with a spring. I can't for the...

Explanation I am afraid may not work right unless you calm down and sit in fron of te unit with the lever and spring to be pushed back to the slot. This is the triger for the soap dispenser when the timer come to this program- it initiates the lever to dipense the soap. So use logic with time and you CAN do it if you can replace the timer. However if this is not there that function will not work and hence the cleaning may not be good.
Imagine the function, and piece the items to put the puzzle right.
The lever is for the link to open and the spring for it to come back.
Hope this helps . Good day

No water goes into dishwasher. Dishwasher has only been used 2times. Came new with house 3.6 years ago. Pulled front panel off...everything appears to be connected motor fan runs.

I've experienced the same thing. Try very slowly rotating timer dial, click by click, until the water starts. Sometimes 3 or 4 clicks will start water. (You're advancing the clock.) Usually water starts in before the dial points to, "Short Wash." If this doesn't work, advance the dial to, "Off," unlock and open the door, reset, close, the soap dispenser, close and lock the door, and slowly advance the dial until the unit starts. I think this problem is a clock to pump issue and what I've described does a reset of the system. This happens to me once or twice per month. Poor engineering but still better than buying a new least 'till now.

Soap and water coming out the front of the dishwasher

I would think that the gasket is not doing the job, can you pull the gasket together to decrease the gap. If not then try another gasket if it's not on warrentee

GE Nautilus Dishwasher - The soap door is stuck partcially open

Advance the timer, with one hand on the dispenser door. The timer should release the door at times during it's cycle, it may need a little help, but not very hard to turn.
