Help with windows office word 2007

The product key on the computer is only for the Windows operating system. It won't work for Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, ...). Unless you paid extra for Microsoft Office, you have a free trial copy that will expire after 25 uses (of all Office programs combined) or 60 days. Until then, you can use the trial copy by just clicking the Continue button in the registration window without entering anything in the product key boxes.

But be warned: When the trial period expires -- with little or no warning -- you'll be able to read and print your documents, but not much more. Here are some of your options for paying less than full price for Microsoft Office 2007:

Note that the higher of the two prices quoted is for a full version of that program and the lower, for upgrades from existing software. Read the list of upgrade-qualifying software carefully: MS Works is often one, and may have come on your machine.

Finally, if you're willing to spend a little to save a little, Microsoft Works is available in stores for about $40.00. You could buy a copy, install it, then buy Office at the upgrade level. I think you'd come out ahead. Note that the upgrade copy probably checks your machine for Works' presence, so don't get rid of it after you've installed Office. You never know when you're going to have to reinstall Office.

Also, if you have files that are locked up in the new Word 2007 file format (.docx), here's a possibility for salvaging them. Microsoft offers a free Compatibility pack that allows earlier versions of Word (and Microsoft Works) to read and write Word 2007 files. If you have access to an earlier version, this can at least give you back your documents. Some new features of Word 2007 will be lost or converted to straight text in the conversion to the earlier version.

As I know, MS office is a software to use for office works such as typing document, calculate and basic office database. MS Office software is NOT an operating system. You can not change you operating system to MS Office 2007. I think you meant is: Install Service Pack 3 of Microsoft Office 2007 on your computer. To do so, you first need the Microsoft Office 2007 software on your computer or you need MS Office 2007 disk. The Service Pack 3 of MS Office 2007 is the update only not the actual software to use.

In earlier version of Microsoft Office (Word 2003), trying to write a subscript or superscript takes quite a time but with the new Word 2007 it's so simple. In Word 2003, select the characters that you would like to change. Go to Format menu and Click Font, from the Font tab you have to select subscript or superscript.

If you get that screen, just click on cancel to continue to the program that you are trying to access.

Hey Carlos, we don't hand out product keys to Microsoft products here.
There are plenty of free alternatives to Microsoft Word out there that will read and write word docs, so there's no reason for you to actually need Billys product.

Start with openoffice.org or google docs even.

if you have installed the microsoft office edition 2007 then you have to activate the product online, only then you will be able to create or edit a document. if activated earlier try re- installing the product ( MS office).

You need to go to 'My profile' and find the original message so you can address your new inquiry to the person who helped you before. Instead of commenting to that earlier exchange, your new request is kind of dangling in space.
