It might have a problem with the blower wheel or lint in the filter housing. Before it quit did it take a long time to dry clothes? That is a sure sign of a dead dryer high limit failure. Admiral Dryer. 6.5 cu. ft. Electric Dryer in White AED4675YQ0 will not stop heating will not cool down AND IT SEAMS AS THO THE HEAT ELEMENT IS STILL ON WEN TIMER IS AT AN OFF POSITION

It sounds like the heat element is bad. It is touching its metal housing causing it to be grounded. It is supplied with 120 volts so it will stay on. You will need to replace the heat element. In the mean time unplug it or turn the breaker off.

Admiral Dryer, runs bu t does not heat

The thermostat, timer or the heating element itself are the places to check. Look at the circuit breaker for the dryer in the power panel. It will be two breakers connected together. If one trips but not both, the heating element will not heat but the dryer will run.

Admiral dryer timer not turning and no heat

It could be the high temp fuse on the element and the timer not turning depends doyou have it on the auto dry because it will not advance if it is not heating because the sensors are not detecting a decrease in the humidity levels because the element not working.

Admiral Dryer Model #AGD4475TQ No Heat

This is very rare on a gas dryer but I have seen it. If you have already replaced all that other stuff I would say it has to be inside the timer. On one I worked on once I could remove that orange wire and the dryer would function ok so I ordered a new timer, they sent me a bad timer. Same problem. I finally got a working timer after going through a bunch of mess. That fixed it. So if all the other components are working it very well could be the timer.

Admiral Capacity Plus LNC8764A71 stopped heating up, Otherswise fine. Cleaned lint out of front and back. What next?

If this is a gas dryer, you might want to check your thermal fuse. If it's not glowing on start up, replcae it.

My admiral dryer runs but has stopped drying the clothes to where I have to run the load five or six times and when I take out the clothes they are cool instead of warm. It does this with every drying...

either your heat cycling switch,hi-limit switch, thermistor or part of your element is defective or you don't have full 240 volts to operate your dryer i.e. only 1 leg of 120 volts it will run in some cases but will heat poorly
