EasyShare Transfer Problem

I've been having issues getting all my pics to download. Keep getting message about "some pictures already in my album". Unfortunately, this time I had the "delete from device" checked so I lost all but 4 of my pics. I found a folder in the Trash bin with the photos but they had an odd extension, .jpg_7_1342177288. I deleted all but the jpg part but none of the image programs will recognize the pics. Is there anyway to retrieve/save my images?

I would try dragging and dropping them to a thumb drive. Then take the drive to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture maker machine. Insert the drive and your pictures should show up. You can print them or even make a cd.

My m1063 Kodak camera will transfer most of the pictures to my computer. A few pictures will not transfer. Is there something I can do to correct this problem?

Do the pics that will not transfer have the same numbers as ones already on your computer? If so, the computer thinks you already downloaded them.

Picture download

Your camera is not numbering the pics consecutively. It is duplicating the numbers and your computer thinks the pics are already there. You are going to have to figure out the duplicates and download them to a separate folder and then rename them.

You probably can't turn it off. Download the pics from one of the cameras to a folder you create on your desktop and if the numbers are the same, simply rename them.

Transferring pics

Have you taken new pictures with the device, or are these already possibly transferred to your system/PC? If they are already on your PC, it will not add them again (to save you space).
If you chose transfer all, what do you get as a result? Check the log for help.

i contacted support with this same problem...i get the triangle with a ! in it.

they said the receiver is sending a resolution that isn't supported by the album. although you can still set the picture to a contact in your address book1.gif, go back to the text message4.gif and view it, or even us the file browser that you downloaded to view it. it just doesn't show up in the album correctly.

they didn't offer any fix to the issue.
