Question about Bushnell Yardage Pro 600 Rangefinder

Bushnell Compact 600 & Tour XL

I've had these 2 rangefinders for many years, the compact 600 a little longer. I am a caddie and have used these for a long time. It's not my imagination when I say that these 2 units seem to have lost sensitivity
picking up targets. Like I said, I've used these for a long time and it is very noticable how much longer it takes me to pick up targets. Is there a part inside that could wear out? I should also mention that although the Compact 600 is a couple of years older this problem seems to have happened to both units around the same time.

Re: Bushnell Compact 600 & Tour XL

1st thing to try is to replace the battery.

If this doesn't work, the unit may be out of alignment, ie the signal is not being sent where you are aiming. They can be sent back to Bushnelland fixed.

On my yardage pro compact 600 my info on the screen is dim? is there an ajustment? battery seems to be fine... i had a different bushnell that would go dim when the battery was dead but also have a little...

If sorry to say that your Compact 600 is on its last legs. Bushnell doesn't service them anymore. I think your unit is about 7-10 years old. Parts are not available. Think about some newer technology. "Pinseeker" technology is the best!!!! They have three models with this: "The Medalist", The"Tour V2", and the all mighty "Pinseeker 1600" Prices start at $195 through $285 from the service center.Call 800.423.3537 and talk to them.......

If E6 is displayed......Its dead. Bushnell doesn't have parts to repair it anymore. Go to the website and find a unit that suits you. Call 800.423.3537 and they will offer you 30-40% off on a new one.

Good Luck!!!!

Meters to Yards

If the unit has a "mode" button, hold it down for at least 5 seconds and see if the "Y" comes up on the screen. Let me know if that helped...mtg

Error message 6

E6 means your unit has a program failure or bad cpu board. If its over 6 years old bushnell won't have parts anyway. Time to buy a new rangefinder.
