Comparable cards to the ATI All In Wonder 9700 Pro 128 MB

Hello there. The Radeon 9700 Pro was a high end graphics card in its time. Today the latest Radeon cards are 3870X2, 3870 and 3850 models. The 3850, while mid-high end range, would be a substantial upgrade from the Radeon 9700 Pro.

If you are planning to upgrade your system, make sure you choose the correct type of card (AGP/PCI-E) and that your current system has a good enough power supply to power a new upgrade.

Hope this helps.

My monitor will only go up to 1280 x 1024

Have you just upgraded the card

What card were you using before?

Did you uninstall that via device manager first before putting in new one? Use drivercleaner pro to remove all traces of old drivers progy :)

If you didnt just upgrade then try starting it in safe F8 during boot.
