Suddenly my adaptor indicates it is out of range. I am using from same location as always
When I bring up the wireless network manager, it shows a strong signal to connec to the access point (linksys wireless router). But when I try to connect, it indicates that it's either out of range, or can't find a signal. I've checked that the wireless adapter is enabled, (it is), I've updated to the latest driver, my other computer connects just fine to the acess point, I don't know what else to do at this point. Any help much appreciated....

Has either the antenna on the router or the antenna on the back of the adaptor changed direction at all? Maybe try adjusting them so that they both point the same direction (like straight up). Also, has a wireless phone been installed recently? That can cause issues. Have any other devices that might put out a wireless signal been installed in the area in your place or near it?
