Toshiba projection tv problem

My toshiba picture distorted how can fix it? There are curved lines at the bottom of the screen.

-   my brother has had toshiba 50h82 it has a bow line on top and bottom of the screen and a couple lines going threw it. the color convergence will not allow me to adjust. so i was curious im pretty handy is it a fairly easy fix or should i just let a "professional" do it and if so what would be a good guestimate of cost-   Guest

Hi, you have a failed convergence circuit, you didn`t list model & chassis number so I can`t tell you which IC`s your set uses. this is not an easy job for a layperson that has never done this before, (requires removal of main board and un-soldering two large IC`s and replacing them) If you want more info ask away but be sure to give model/chassis so I know which set were dealing with, good luck, BMW Rider
