Plug the flash drive in, wait for the computer to read and add it to the list of devices..takes a few moments. It may even pop up asking what do you want to do, in your case you can click on view files. This will open a window which will show you files and folders already on the drive. These flash drives will act just like any other hard drive, you can add folders, delete folders etc. Find the files you want and just copy and paste or if you dont need to ciopy, you can simply drag and drop (which is left click and hold the button down on the file you want to transfer, drag the mouse over to the flash drive folder of your choice and let the button go when the folder highlites.
they should not have dissappeared unless you deleted or formatted your drive
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you should see a yellow question mark?
right click to reinstall drivers
if you can see your usb drive but its not working
ports(com&lpt)right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem
click start control panel administrive tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now start or you might tick one box then return after its finished the first repair then return and tick the second box you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage this drive
