Problem for Canon Elura 100 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

Normally this happens when the camera is dropped or dashed roughly..the screen gets the power but the display connections break off internally .so it illuminates but does not display anything.
Also the second possibility is that the moisture has shortened the connections.
To check it ,initially try removing battery and reinsert and check whether its just a rest problem. if it still has problem then the only solution is to replace the lcd of camera.
