If its 2 or 3 beeps its something in the MOther BOard thats failing... dependes on how many beeps.. but if it is a lots of beepings, its the keyboard that some key is stucked..
but usually.. the beeping that tells you that something on the MOBO is failing. wont let you pass the acer logo...

and the best way to fix that is turn the computer upside down and hit it like if you are trying to take the burps out from a baby (and yes.. be gentle with it like if it was your baby)

the main causes of this is that you might be eating near the computer and food or dust gets into the keyboard...

if hiting i said doesnt work, you might have to open the computer and check whats stuck in the keyboard.. but i suggest you let a professional do that

If the ability to reinstall from the previous method is not available or fails, recovery of the Operating System will need to be from Recovery Media. If you do not have a set of Acer Recovery Media, you may purchase the set online from the Acer Recovery Media Order Form..
Note: If your computer does not have an internal optical disc drive, an external optical disc drive will be required in order to recover the Operating System using Acer Recovery Media.
  1. Restart the computer.
  2. When the Acer logo appears on the screen, press the F12 key repeatedly to enter the computer's Boot Menu.
  3. Press the CD-ROM drive eject button and insert the disc labeled System CD.
  4. Close the CD-ROM tray.
  5. Refer to on screen instructions to select either CDROM or USB CDROM.
