Found a Toshiba laptop, about 2 years old. Screen
Found a Toshiba laptop, about 2 years old. Screen is smashed but when I turn it on, the on light comes on, the fan comes on for about 20 seconds, then shuts off, the on light stays on. No beeps, no sounds. I hooked up an external monitor and it puts out no signal to the monitor. Should I even waste my time?

at two years old it is basically exctinct already and the costs of laptops coming down so rapidly you can probably go on craigslist or ebay and find a cheap laptop that is working and ready to be portable. you can also try and sell the toshiba online for parts
